Preschool at Westhill Institute begins with our Transition learners (18 months) and finishes in Preschool 2 (PS2) around the age of 3. The Creative Curriculum objectives and standards have been adopted by Westhill for students in this age range.

The Creative Curriculum includes developmentally appropriate goals and objectives for children within four main categories of interest: social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language. Preschool students at Westhill are prepared to meet the rigour of the Primary Years Programme curriculum in elementary school through the holistic developments of the four categories of interest highlighted in The Creative Curriculum.
